‘The Lost Attic Tapes //

Over the years, there have been a number of ‘unofficial’ recordings of the band’s live and unreleased studio performances.  Some were made by fans, some by our sound crew.  Some are good quality, some transferred from cassette.  But what they all do is provide a unique window into the performance style, power and enthusiasm over the decades.  We’ve called them the ‘Attic Tapes’ because, in preparing this archive, one of our sound engineers came across boxes of tapes that had been stored in his attic for decades.  We didn’t know they existed, let alone what was on them.  Our search for machines that could play these old formats reunited us with our old mate Ern Rose who produced our first ‘real’ studio album – And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda in 1976.

We hope you enjoy delving back into the past as much as we have.
