The Dance Book, brought the band to the attention of major label CBS and on the back of the European folk revival, the band went ‘electric, with drums and guitars, introducing Roger Corbett to the lineup while and. a surge of bush dancing that sweep the nation.

A Bush Christmas with Nicole Kidman and Bush dancing with Bert Newton, Ray Martin and Don Lane  

When released the Dance Album and Dance Book combined an extensive PR campaign which included band appearances on Ray Martin’s Midday Show and The Don Lane Show where they met Bert Newton. So impressed with the band was Bert Newton, that for many years after the band appeared on the various shows he hosted.

'Unofficial' recordings //

When boxes of old tapes that had been stored in an attic for decades resurfaced, swags of 'unofficial' recordings from the band's past live and unreleased studio performances were found.  It's a unique window into the style, power and enthusiasm of the band over the decades, collectively titled, The Lost Attic Tapes
